About Skincare by Michelle Vernon

Kansas City Skincare Professional

I have always been fascinated with skin, and how it functions.  For example: the ability to slow the ageing process, or to heal acne.  Nothing brings more joy than to help someone feel beautiful.”

Michelle started out as a cosmetics manager for a major skincare company.

She loved working with her clients, teaching them how to take care of their skin. Even as a child, Michelle remembers making masks and potions and trying them on her family and friends.  She took her love for skin and attended esthetics school.  Michelle is serious about continuing education, she travels around the globe to classes and skin care conferences,”there is nothing more thrilling than learning about my passion.”

Michelle was one of the 1st in Kansas City to introduce eyelash extensions (see KCStar newspaper, and Flourish Magazine).

She also pioneered the dermafile and nu face face lift.  Michelle has been trained in permanent cosmetics by long time Gurus in Florida and New Jersey, she specializes in three different modalities (see ink magazine 7-8-09). Michelle also volunteers for the American Cancer Society “Look Good Feel Better” program where she teaches cancer patients how to work with make up,and take care of their skin. It’s one of the many ways Michelle gives back to the community.
